I am soooo looking forward to going to Omaha tomorrow morning to attend the Fluff again event!! I am sure to find some fab-fab-fabulous cloth diaper deals! I'm super excited!!!! Hope I don't get toooooo carried away!

Here are some random pictures taken this month.

The one with Yaretzi looking out the door window- notice she has on my shoes! And on the wrong feet! She is staring at the dogs who are outside waiting to come in!

The one with Yaretzi and the books was taken on the steps going upstairs. She likes to carry around books and "read" and she thought I was going to taken them away from her so that is why her face looks like that!

The one with Deyanira and Yaretzi sitting on the couch was taken while they were watching a movie with their dad. He works alot so they don't always get to spend time doing things with him so they were enjoying it. This happened to be one of the few times they actually sat still!

The other two pictures I took when they made a fort out of the end tables and various blankets and pillows! They had a blast running around the tables and crawling in and out!

Well I thought I had better post something since I havn't in awhile! Things are pretty much normal around here, although I do ahve a few things to report.
On Feb. 7th we went to Woodhouse to look at getting a new vehicle, we had been searching vans for awhile, and decided that it would make the most sense for us to have. So anyhoo, we went up there to look around and before we knew it we bought a brand new 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan! It is inferno red (looks maroon if you ask me) and it had a whopping 73 miles on it when we signed the papers. It has everything a person could ask for, almost (it doesn't ahve remote start :( but how hard is that to install!) It has dual DVD, rear back-up camera, leather heated seats, 4 captain chairs, swivel n' go (would have preferred stow n go but I still have storage so not a biggie- except the seats are larger so it leaves less room in the rear seat). I have had it for just under 2 weeks now, I consider it my Valentines present! and I just love it! I guess now I can be a soccer mom! LOL!
Speaking of being a soccer mom, Deyanira asked if she could play soccer so we let her sign up for soccer and then just tonite Feb 17th, we signed her up for t-ball! She just wants to try it all. I told her she can try things but not too many at a time. Since t-ball starts after soccer ends I am okay with her signing up for both. She wants to do her swimming againt his summer too, so I hope it doesn't conflict with her practices and games.
Once I get some new pictures I will post them!

Thoughts...

Deyanira and I had made Christmas ornaments to give to people on Christmas, however, we forgot about them and didn't get them all done in time! So I decided to let her have some paint and have fun decorating them however she wished! She came up with tons of color combos and decorating designs! She had lots of fun!
As far as everything else all is well and running like clockwork! We have decided to get a new vehicle and I guess we will get a...van! Ahh, never thought of me as the "van" mom but it just makes sense. It will be big enough to carry most things and allow for extra seating if needed!
It will come in handy when we go to Mexico this summer too! Our car is much too small for such a long trip. Not to mention the juggling act we have to do on a daily basis. So a van it is! Now to decide to color and type and between the plethora of options available! But I guess everything must wait on the taxes part! Good 'ol taxes! HAHA!
Well, off to clean.. it never ends I fear!

Nothing new...

There really isn't any new news to report. And what is new no one wants to hear about it so...just thought I would get on here and write a few things.
I started back with my classes again, these next for weeks I will be taking Business Data Communications and Networking! Fun fun! I ahve asignments due for things that I really have no idea what they are talking about! I might mention, I am the only person that does not already work in the field of IT, nor have much experience with computers on a technical level! What on earth was I thinking? Well I am just taking it one step at a time and hoping for the best! I really was just thinking of the business degree but my advisor thinks that the business with IT is a better route. I think I am a fool! Where on earth will I go to work in this dinky town?
Ok well enough of my rant!
Well, all is well and good! Deyanira started up her CCD classes again, Wednesday and she was soooo excited! She just loves going to CCD and church. Which is great!

A new Start to a better year!

Well, the new year is already upon us and we have vowed to make it a great year! Last year was certainly bad enough for a few years to come I think :) However, we have chosen to not dwell on the past but look forward to the future! And what better day to start than today? I am starting the year on a positive note and truly hope it stays that way!
We did get an offer for the trailblazer... it was more than I expected but still a measly amount. However, all things considered, it's better than nothing for the continuation of paying a storage fee! Tomorrow our hands will be washed of it for good. We have decided to accept the offer and pay all the towing and storage fees and walk away, no harm no fowl. It was no ones fault, if it was ours surly they would have given us a ticket right away. I called Worrell's and still no sign of the rosary and necklace... I don't suspect there ever will be.
